As the DevOps Support and Cloud Architect for the Westlake Royal Building Products corporate website, I played a key role in consolidating 35 separate brand sites into a single, unified Drupal platform. I designed and implemented the cloud infrastructure using AWS services to provide a scalable, secure, and high-performing environment.

Key contributions included:

• Infrastructure Design – Architected a cloud environment leveraging EC2 for compute, RDS for database services, CloudFront for global content delivery, and an Application Load Balancer for traffic distribution and high availability.
• Performance Optimization – Configured and fine-tuned PHP-FPM on Linux to ensure maximum efficiency, resulting in fast response times and strong site reliability.
• Docker Integration – Containerized application components with ECR and Docker, streamlining deployments and improving consistency across environments.
• Collaboration – Worked closely with internal project management and the client’s systems administrator to align technical decisions with business requirements.
